Meeting with Jellichje

Chatted with Jellichje about the stage we are at in the workshop. She met with us the day before we were to re-introduce ourselves to the women, so that meeting was all about our expectations and hopes for the project. It was good to talk with her again at this point to think outside of oursevles and to notice our thought processes as we have been just moving fast along with little time to really reflect. I have realized that one of our biggest obstacles has been language. As Dutch is not their native tongue, nor ours, we are really dependent on other people who do not have the point of reference of our workshop, making it really difficult to get our point across. A. has been a very key figure as her participation, she immediately understands the concept and has the ability to translate this to the other women. P. and I never anticipated that the language barrier would be that difficult as we imagined this to be way more hands-on.
