“Saving Dolma” follows the story of Dolma, a Nepali domestic worker sentenced to death for allegedly killing a fellow Filipino domestic worker in Kuwait. As the movie searches for the truth in the event, it provides a rare glimpse into the fractured lives of ill-prepared women migrant workers in the Gulf States.

Dolma is supposed to be free next year (2017). The question now is, what will she come back to? Who will help her get a job? What will she want to do?

What are the issues and what next should the government approach for the safety of immigrant worker in a foreign land?
